Phenol-Formaldehyde Powder Adhesive for Marine & Water-Resistant Bonding
Epoxite AquaSet M90 is a phenyl-formaldehyde-based powder adhesive developed for marine-grade plywood bonding, waterproof joinery, and submerged applications. It activates with hot water (~90°C) to form a viscous adhesive paste that sets into a highly durable, moisture-resistant bond capable of withstanding prolonged exposure to humid, wet, or underwater environments.
Formulated from premium thermosetting resin chemistry, AquaSet M90 delivers superior bond strength, boil-proof durability, and dimensional stability, making it ideal for manufacturers of marine plywood, structural wooden components, and moisture-exposed installations.
Color: Reddish-brown paste after mixing with hot water.

100:60 to 100:70 by weight (Powder: Hot Water)
Mixed viscosity: 8,000–10,000 cP
Surface Preparation: Ensure all bonding surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants like dust, oil, or grease.
Mixing Instructions:
Heat clean water to approximately 90°C.
Gradually add 60–70 parts hot water to 100 parts adhesive powder while stirring.
Mix thoroughly until a uniform, lump-free paste is achieved.
Use immediately after mixing.
Application: Apply the adhesive using a roller, brush, or trowel. Clamp or press the bonded components firmly.
Curing: Heat press or ambient curing depending on production process. Full cure is typically achieved during the plywood pressing cycle.
Form: Powder adhesive
Packs: 1 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg moisture-sealed bags
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place (10–30°C), away from moisture and direct sunlight
Shelf Life: 6–12 months in sealed containers
Use gloves and a dust mask while handling the powder. Avoid inhalation and skin contact. Mix in a well-ventilated area. Refer to SDS for full safety details.
