Product Overview

Continuous Filament Mat is a non-woven reinforcement composed of continuous E-CR glass filaments randomly layered and bonded together using a silane coupling agent and compatible binder. Designed to maintain consistent integrity during molding processes.

• Available GSM Options: 225 gsm, 300 gsm, 450 gsm, 600 gsm

• Standard Roll Widths: 125 cm to 260 cm (custom widths available upon request)

• Fibre Type: Boron-free E‑CR (Advantex®) glass — compliant with ASTM D578 and ISO 2078 standards

• Binder Type: Insoluble binder compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy, and polyurethane resins

• Fibre TEX (linear density): Approximately 20–25 TEX depending on variant

• Moisture Content: ≤ 0.2%

Ideal for closed-mould processes including RTM, S-RIM, infusion, compression moulding, and pultrusion. Fabricated parts include:

• Electrical equipment profiles (high-voltage insulation)

Packaging & Storage

• Roll Core: 76 mm or 102 mm (external roll diameter ~55 cm)

• Packaging: Rigid cardboard core, PE-stretch wrapped, side-trimmed

• Palletisation:

  • ≤210 cm width: 6 vertical rolls per pallet

  • 210 cm width: 6 horizontal rolls per pallet

• Storage Conditions:

  • Temperature: 15–35 °C

  • Humidity: 35–75 % RH

  • Condition rolls for 24 h pre-use to avoid moisture condensation and protect mat integrity.
