Product Name: TPA 60%
Delivery Form: 60 ±2% solids in Xylene
System Type: Thermoplastic acrylic copolymer resin for exterior coatings and concrete applications
Epoxite TPA 60% is a high-performance thermoplastic acrylic resin solution designed for outdoor protective coatings, especially on concrete surfaces and construction substrates. With a solid content of 60% in xylene, this low-odour system offers exceptional weather resistance, gloss retention, and pigment compatibility. Its inherent flexibility, hardness, and non-yellowing nature make it a preferred binder for decorative, metallic, and protective finishes exposed to harsh environments.
Excellent gloss and long-term gloss retention
High yellowing resistance under UV exposure
Flexible yet hard film formation
Low odour and solvent-borne formulation
Ideal pigment dispersion and plasticizer resistance
Compatible with multiple common solvents

TPA-696 is ideal for a wide range of applications in construction and coatings, including:
Concrete Coatings & Sealers
Used as a binder in durable exterior coatings for concrete surfaces like pavements, walkways, and exterior walls where flexibility, UV resistance, and weatherability are critical.
Metallic Paints & Decorative Finishes
Works excellently as a binder for metallic finishes, thanks to its superior pigment dispersion and high-gloss characteristics.
UV-Resistant Protective Layers
Ideal for topcoats where long-term yellowing resistance and gloss retention are essential in sunny or harsh outdoor conditions.
Recommended Application Methods
Apply via brush, roller, or spray system
Substrate should be clean, dry, and free from oil or contaminants
Use appropriate solvent dilution if required for application viscosity adjustment
Curing Characteristics
Being thermoplastic, the coating forms a film via solvent evaporation
No chemical curing (crosslinking) is required
Typical drying time: Surface dry in 10–15 minutes; hard dry in 2–4 hours (depending on temperature and airflow)
Store in tightly sealed containers away from heat and direct sunlight
Ideal storage temperature: 5°C – 30°C
Shelf life: 12 months from date of manufacture under standard storage conditions
Flammable liquid; keep away from sparks, heat, and open flames
Use only in well-ventilated areas
Avoid contact with eyes and skin – use appropriate PPE (gloves, goggles)
In case of contact, wash with soap and water or seek medical attention
