Epoxite® Crystal Clear Cast is a two-component, ambient-cure epoxy system designed for transparent casting, tabletop coatings, and artistic applications. Derived from a low-viscosity, modified epoxy formulation, it offers glass-like clarity, long pot life, and minimal shrinkage, making it ideal for thick-section casting and high-gloss finishes.
Crystal-clear transparency with high hardness
Excellent air release and wetting properties
High gloss finish without "fish-eye" effect
Long working time – perfect for deep pours
Good chemical and water resistance
Minimal shrinkage during cure
Clear castings and decorative resin art
River tables and resin wood projects
Tabletops and bar top coatings
Jewelry and handicraft moulds
Encapsulation and potting of decorative items

Pot Life (100g at 25°C): 300 – 370 minutes
Peak Exotherm Temperature: Max 55°C
Shore D Hardness: 75 – 80
Glass Transition Temperature (Tg):

Post Cure @ 80°C (3 hrs): 70 – 75°C
Mixing Instructions:
1 .Measure components accurately by weight
2. Mix manually or mechanically at slow speed to avoid air entrapment
3. Scrape the sides and base of the container during mixing
4. Continue mixing until the blend is fully clear and streak-free
5. Degas under vacuum (optional) before pouring for crystal-clear results
Application:
1. Pour the mixture into silicone or plastic molds, or directly onto wood or flat surfaces
2. Ideal mold materials: silicone rubber, acrylic, HDPE
3. Use under controlled environment:
Temperature: 20–35°C
Humidity: Below 65%
Avoid curing below 15°C or in high humidity (>80%)
Recommended casting depth: Up to 30 mm per pour (deeper sections require staged pouring)
Curing Schedule:
1. Touch dry: ~18–24 hours at 25°C
2. Full cure: ~48 hours at ambient temperature
3. Post-cure (optional for high heat resistance): 50°C for 18 hours or 80°C for 3 hours
Store in tightly sealed containers away from moisture and sunlight
Recommended storage temperature: 18°C – 30°C
Shelf life:
Resin: 12 months
Hardener: 12 months
Use gloves, goggles, and appropriate PPE
Work in a well-ventilated area
In case of skin contact, wash with soap and warm water
Do not inhale vapors or allow prolonged skin exposure
Hardener tends to fume – always keep sealed tightly
Why it's a good fit:
Long pot life (300–370 minutes) — gives you enough working time for large, deep pours
Low exotherm (max ~55°C) — minimizes risk of cracking, yellowing, or warping
Excellent clarity and gloss — perfect for showcasing wood grains and decorative items
Good hardness (Shore D 75–80) — durable enough for furniture surfaces
Thick-section pouring capability — up to ~30 mm per pour
Maximum single-pour depth
- Up to 30 mm per pour layer
- For deeper sections (e.g., 50–70 mm), pour in multiple layers with 4–6 hours gap between layers (or wait for gel stage)
Ambient temperature
- Maintain 20–28°C throughout curing
- Avoid high humidity (>65%) to prevent blush or cloudy finish
Post-cure (optional)
To boost heat resistance (for hot mugs, sun exposure, etc.), post-cure the surface at 50–60°C for 4–6 hours
Coloring
Compatible with epoxy pigments and transparent dyes — just make sure to mix thoroughly
Sanding & polishing
After full cure (48–72 hrs), surface can be sanded and polished for a glass-like finish
