Engineered for structural laminates requiring high strength and durability, this isophthalic-grade unsaturated polyester resin offers superior mechanical performance compared to standard orthophthalic systems. With enhanced chemical resistance and thermal stability, it is well-suited for demanding FRP applications in marine, automotive, construction, and water-retaining structures.
Its consistent viscosity and tightly controlled gel time make it ideal for spray-up, hand lay-up, or vacuum-assisted moulding, especially where dimensional stability and crosslinking integrity are critical. This resin is used widely in New Zealand for FRP claddings, roofing, panels, and tanks, especially in environments involving light chemical or thermal exposure.

Operating Conditions
Recommended application range: 20°C to 30°C
Avoid curing in high humidity or below 15°C
Ensure well-ventilated environment during lay-up and cure
Compatible with glass reinforcements such as CSM, WR, mesh rolls
Storage & Shelf Life
Shelf life: Minimum 3 months from manufacturing date
Store below 25°C in a sealed container
Avoid exposure to heat, sunlight, or open ignition sources
