Premium-grade, pre-accelerated gelcoat for marine and FRP surface protection
This white isophthalic polyester gelcoat is formulated to deliver excellent UV resistance, weather durability, and surface gloss retention in demanding marine and industrial FRP applications. Based on isophthalic acid, this gelcoat offers a superior balance of mechanical strength and chemical resistance compared to orthophthalic options.
Designed for brush or spray application, it cures to form a high-gloss, durable surface layer that resists water ingress, chalking, and micro-cracking—ensuring long-term aesthetic and structural performance of FRP laminates. Ideal for boat hulls, panels, tanks, sanitary ware, and architectural composites, this product is optimised for New Zealand’s variable coastal climate with excellent UV stability and hydrolytic resistance.
