Processing & Application Guidelines
Mix Ratio (by weight)
100 parts EPG 180 (resin) : 50 parts EH 406 (hardener)
Mixing Procedure
1. Stir each component separately before use
2. Pour the required amounts of resin and hardener into a clean container
3. Mix thoroughly using a flat spatula or mechanical stirrer at slow speed
4. Scrape the sides and bottom to ensure uniformity
5. Avoid introducing air bubbles during mixing
Pot Life (100 g mix at 25°C)
Approx. 120–130 minutes (Use within this window for best results)
Application Method
- Apply using a brush, roller, trowel, or injection equipment depending on use-case
- Suitable for casting, bonding, priming, and sealing on concrete, metal, composites, wood
Recommended Thickness
- For coatings: 0.3 – 1.0 mm per layer
- For casting or filling: Apply in stages if depth exceeds 10 mm to avoid excess exotherm
Curing Schedule
- Touch-dry: 8–10 hours at 25°C
- Full cure: 24–36 hours at 25°C
- Optional post-cure: 40°C for 4 hours to enhance chemical resistance
Clean-up
Clean tools and mixing containers with solvent (e.g., isopropyl alcohol or epoxy thinner) before the system cures
Resin (EPG 180): Store between 20°C and 40°C, shelf life of 2 years
Hardener (EH 406): Store between 18°C and 25°C, shelf life of 1 year
